Blog? What Blog!?

My computer hasn't received much attention the last little while. Busy days! Everyone is doing well in our house. The twins are growing and changing so quickly - it's amazing! They are giving such sweet smiles and little giggles and becoming much more interested in playing/batting at toys. The nights have gotten significantly better which makes this Mama SO HAPPY! When the twins were about 10 weeks (and I thought I was going to lose my mind from lack of sleep!) we got another swing and I let them both swing all night long. Not a great long term plan...but I was rather desperate! They both sleep SO well when they're in the swings. We're trying to get them back in their crib now. Orrin is doing pretty well - Elena still wakes up for one more feeding during the night then Orrin.

Trevin is enjoying preschool. He has a hard time when he gets dropped off, but always talks about the things they did at school and what fun he had. He continues to amuse us with the things he comes up with. He told us that Bampa's name is Jerry (which is correct). When we asked what Grandma's name was, he paused and got a very mischievous look and said, "Fred!" A few weeks back he very excitedly told Will, "Papa, there's an apple-thingie on the 'mato!" Apparently our tomato plant grows apples! Trevin is Will's little shadow. He would LOVE to go with Papa to "the job" everyday if he could!

I'm back at work on Mondays and Fridays. Our friend (and neighbor) Cathy M. is coming to the house and watching the kids. It is SO nice having her come to the house because it eliminates having to get them all packed up and transported. Elena had a hard time taking the bottle at first which made Cathy's days rather challenging! She seems to be doing better now. Will is keeping busy with work and getting excited about bow season coming up.

Fair 2010

It was kind of a crazy time at Fair this year. (Actually, life in general seems a bit crazy right now!) This was my last year as a leader (for a few years, at least)...life is just too busy for me to be trying to do the 4-H thing too. I needed to get my 4-H kids through Fair though. All I can say is THANK YOU to those that helped me that week. Marla had the kids on Monday while the 4-H kids weighed their pigs at Fair. Tuesday and Wednesday Marla had Trevin while Kylee and Angie B had the twins at our house and would bring them to me at Fair every three hours so I could feed them. I know it was a MAJOR hassle to get the babies all packed up and transported to the pig barn...but I appreciate it SO much! (I did the pumping in the vehicle thing on Monday at Fair and it wasn't much fun!) Cheree C, Kylee and Mom all helped out during the auction as I had all the kiddos. So again...thanks SO very much to my fabulous helpers!

My sweet Mama with the babies. I don't know what I would have done without her after the twins came. She has only missed three days of not seeing the babies since they were born. She drops by and holds a baby (or two!) and helps me out SO MUCH! She also takes my baby laundry home, washes them and brings them back so nicely folded and ironed. I know...I'm TOTALLY spoiled!

Mom has had a break from any treatment since before the twins came - but her counts indicated a need for more treatment. She started radiation on Thursday and will start chemo again around the first part of September. My Mama....My Hero.

Yup...we make really good T's. Still working on the part where we write on paper instead of ourselves!

First day of preschool. I started back to work two days a week on June 28th and we started Trevin in half day preschool on the days I'm at work. It is REALLY good for him to get to interact with other little ones and have the stimulation of school.
