Sledding

We went up in the snow on Saturday so the kids could do a little sledding. We found a nice little hill that was a good size for the kids. Trevin wasn't too sure about the whole experience and got a little scared sledding. I think going at nap time probably didn't help matters. He did okay, but definitely wasn't doing "Weeeeee" down the hill like Kiera and Ethan!! More pics here and here.

Christmas 2008

We had a very nice Christmas spent at my mom and dad's. There were nine of us: Mom and Dad, Gram, Bret, Will's Mom and Ernie and us. Teresa didn't make it home because of the snow, but she had a virtual Christmas with us. Her laptop and Mom's laptop have web cams so she got to see us open some gifts and be a part of things. It was pretty neat! Trevin was very lucky as ALL his grandparents were there on Christmas. I should have gotten a pic of that, but didn't think of it.

Gingerbread Fun

Our 4-H club decorated gingerbread houses again this year and Trevin thought it was way cool that there was a bunch of candy out! He kept snitching M&M's! I just had four members come this year and their houses turned out very bright and festive. We took them to a nursing home not far from our house so the residents there could enjoy them.

Trevin's 18 Month Apt

Mr. T had his 18 month doctor's appointment on the 16th (I know...I'm waayy behind on my posting!) All is well with our little guy. His height and weight are progressing normally on his growth curves and he's saying more words every day. This was the first appointment Trevin was REALLY scared of the doctor. We had quite a time prying arms and legs off of me so the doctor could examine him. (Screaming all the while!) Fun times!

• Height: 34 inches (aprox 90 percentile)
• Head: 19.5 inches (aprox 92 percentile)

Play Date at the Mall

We met Kiera and Mallory (and their Mommy's!) at the mall last Wednesday so the kids could spend some time playing on the little playground. Lots of fun!

Turkey Day

We had a very special Thanksgiving this year. It was just so nice to be with family and relax. Our day started with Will's Mom and Ernie coming over for breakfast. Yummy Dutch Babies and ham! We headed up north midday to stay at my brother Todd's house. All five siblings were able to be there, so it was pretty neat. We were missing my brother Jeff's wife, Andrea (a vet who was on call) and my brother Bret's son, Brock. Lots of food, games, watching home videos and just relaxing! Saturday we headed over to Will's sister Marilou's house to spend some time there before traveling home. So we got to be with lots and lots of family this Thanksgiving. Very special!
