Emily

We lost Emily, Will's Mom on December 17th after a short, intense battle with Esophageal CA.  We were so thankful that Will made it up to Salem in time to be there when she passed away.  Both Will and his sister Marilou were there, along with Emily's husband Ernie.  Her funeral was on Saturday the 23rd and Barb M and Rose D had the service.  It meant a lot to have the support of so many on that day.  And so thankful for One that comforts and cares like no other.

Christmas 2012

Christmas morning was spent at our house and then we headed to Dad's after the kids had naps for our big meal.  Will ended up getting called away Christmas afternoon on an emergency job.  A tree down in a road that needed some attention.  So the kids and I went to Dad's without him.

Thanksgiving 2012

I was on call Thanksgiving Day so we stayed close to home.  On Friday, we headed up to Salem to see my brother and family and also get time with Will's Mom and sister. Will's Mom has been going through chemo for Esophageal CA so we wanted to see her.

Running Y Get-Away

Will and I were able to get away for a weekend at the Running Y in K Falls.  Our kiddos were very well taken care of by Uncle Kreg and Aunt Angie.  It was SO nice to get some time with my hubby with no kiddos.  Life gets so busy and crazy, it's easy for couple time to get put on the back burner.  

Happy Halloween 2012

We had Superman (again!), Batman and a Fairy this year for Halloween.  We only went to a few houses in our neighborhood and then to visit Grandma Mary because of bible study that night.  The kids were very excited about all the candy!
