Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween! We took Trevin to a couple houses in our neighborhood and then out to Bampa and Grama's house. Our little dino got lots of chocolate!

We went to the pumpkin patch at Grandma and Bampa's house last week so Trevin could pick out a pumpkin. Unfortunately it was raining and Mr. T wasn't very enthused about being out there! We did get some nice big pumpkins and a bunch of little baby ones too! Uncle Bret helped us haul the pumpkins back to our car.

Santa Rosa Trip

We made a quick trip down to Santa Rosa last weekend. Will took down some trees for Forrie and Melissa J on Saturday and then we got to catch part of Santa Rosa Special Meeting on Sunday. Kreg and Angie rode with us which was very entertaining for Trevin. He also got rather attached to Melissa ('Lissa as he calls her) while we were down there which was very cute!

News x2

Exciting news! Our family is growing! I'm 12 wks pregnant today and had my first doctor's apt last week with everything looking good. The babies (Yup, I said babies!) are due April 21st, but twins come early so we just aim for March 24th (36 wks) and anything after that is just peachy. Yes, we were REALLY surprised to find out it was twins. We found out pretty early because I scanned myself (and shocked myself silly!) It's been pretty fun to get people's reactions. Will is such a jokester/prankster that anyone he tells, usually don't believe him! We're very excited (with a dash of "Oh my goodness...how are we going to do this!") and looking forward to meeting our two new little ones!

Trevinisms

Things I'm loving about this stage with our two year old:

After you tell or explain something to Trevin, he responds with a very drawn out , "OH" that sounds like he really mulled over and contemplated your explanation. It's very cute!

Trevin has started really enjoying talking on the phone. If he finds my phone, he'll bring it to me and say, "Call Tesa" or "Call Grama". The conversations don't usually last long, but it is sweet to hear him tell them "HI!" and listen for awhile and then "Bye-Bye."

He's very into finding "fiders" (spiders) and "fies" (flies). However he also uses "fiders" and "fies" as a way to get away with things. Like he'll kick or hit something, and when he's told we don't do that, he'll reply very innocently, "FIDER, Mama". Yup, I'm sure there was a "fider" there, Mr. T!

Trevin is very sweet when he wants up or when he wants to sit on your lap in meeting. It's never "Up", but always "Hug, pease." Now, if you don't cooperate with the hug, then the request does turn more demanding and less sweet and polite! It's hard to resist the hug request but there are definitely times that he gets rather upset because I just can't pick him up right then.

Trevin is very much the normal 2-year old so he has become very well acquainted with his two minute time-outs in the corner. However, I do love that he is so willing to give hugs and tell Momma or Poppa "Sowee" when he's done. Melts my heart!

A Visit to Auntie Teresa's

Trevin, Mom and I went down and visited my sister Teresa last weekend. It had been quite awhile since I had been to Teresa's house. That weekend was the Hot Air Balloon races so we got to see lots of balloons. Pretty amazing the size of some of the balloons! Trevin was talking about the balloons for days afterwards! And Sunday we got to see Marilyn D, our worker from last year. Very special! It was just nice to get away and spend time with Teresa and relax. We missed Papa though!
